Jana Rupnow is a licensed psychotherapist, published author and speaker. Her experience at Baylor University Medical Center resulted in numerous publishings on wellness, behavior modification and lifestyle change. In addition, she specializes in family and fertility challenges including parenting, infertility, miscarriage, and the resulting relationship strain that often occurs. She is a specialist in third party reproduction offering consultation, screening and counseling with egg donors, surrogates and intended parents (IP).
She has extensive experience with adoption, both as a counselor and speaker on the topic, she helps adoptive families with preparation and adjustment. As part of her international training, she traveled to China and Africa to visit orphanages and developed a program to benefit orphans in Liberia. In addition, she provides counseling for tweens and teenagers, using age appropriate techniques. She encourages the exploration of family dynamics that may be contributing to psychological problems within the family. Jana's approach is flexible, authentic and solution-focused while using a variety of techniques with the latest technology. Heather is a marriage and family expert, speaker, and creator of the Designer Marriage as well as a published author. She uses Depth Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral treatment for individual, marital and family issues including depression, anxiety, grief, role diffusion, life transition, communication, compulsion, relationships and sexuality.
